We Put The Hip In Phipps: Spring Break

Kennedy got a week off for Spring Break and since we are too poor to go anywhere awesome, we went to Idaho Falls. Tyson wanted to go, but his Diamond Show was on Saturday, something he can't miss. Friday after school we drove to Idaho Falls, Saturday afternoon we went to Papa Tom's, one of our favorite pizza places. I remember when Brooklyn was a baby I would order pizza and salad and they would deliver to our house in Ammon. They have the BEST ranch dressing! Then we went shopping for a baby gift for my step sister's baby boy and my friend Shelly's baby girl turned one the week before, so I was excited to buy presents for them. (any excuse to go shopping!) Then Saturday night we went to my Aunt and Uncle's house for my Grandpa Mallard's 75th birthday. My cousin Scott also joined the military and was flying to Georgia the following Monday, so it was a going away party for Scott too. It was fun to see family again! We live a lonely life in Twin Falls :) Sunday afternoon I went to lunch with my friend Shelly and her husband at Johnny Carino's. The food was awesome! Then we went back to Grandma Mallard's house to visit some more with the family. Fun times!! Then Monday afternoon we went to see my step-sister Jenny and her adorable kids. We also got to see my step-brother Aaron, who we haven't seen for a long time. It was fun to visit with them again and holding her baby boy really made me baby hungry. Hmmm.... Monday evening I dropped the girls off to play with their friend Branwyn, and Tuesday we went home. I am so glad that we got to see so many people in a short amount of time!

A fun game. We had to open the wrapped candy bars using only forks. And you had to hurry before someone rolled doubles then they could take your candy bar away.
