A very busy weekend!

First of all, I had to post a picture of the girls bedroom. It was the first room put together in our new house, all we're missing is the curtain. I haven't got around to measuring and buying a curtain rod yet. But I just love how it turned out and wanted to show if off. =) So Kennedy's friend Branwyn, who lives in Idaho Falls and used to be our neighbor, got baptised last Saturday. Kennedy really wanted to go, so I decided since Tyson was working all day both Saturday and Sunday, that we would make a quick trip to Idaho Falls. Friday afternoon I picked Kennedy up from school, and we drove to my mom's house. The ride went quick and we talked about how it's "spring time" in Twin Falls and "winter" in Idaho Falls. I do LOVE the weather here. Friday night we took the girls to see The Princess and The Frog. It was such a cute movie! Isabelle loved the music and danced through all the songs standing on my lap. I'm pretty sure Kennedy caught a nasty little flu bug at the theater because that night she had a fever and was throwing up. The next morning she was pale and still fighting a fever and sore throat, but she was determined to go to Branwyn's baptism. We got lost looking for the Stake Center, but we managed to find it just in time. Kennedy was so excited! Her friend Rhett from her first grade class was getting baptised too, and she was so happy to see her friends again. After the baptism I promised the kids we would go sledding, but I wasn't sure if that was such a great idea giving Kennedy not feeling well. They insisted that they still wanted to go, even if they only went down the hill a few times. It was a beautiful sunny, snowy, day and I think Kennedy's medicine kicked in because they were having a great time. They even met a friend there who had a matching sled, and they ended up going down together, holding hands a few times. Isabelle slept in the car through most of it, and woke up in time to go down once, and that was enough for her.

Watching the movie!

Branwyn's Baptism

All ready for sledding...

The little green sled wouldnt slide. Grandma Terri was determined to make it work...no such luck. :)

I love this picture of Brooklyn. She's so beautiful!

The one time Isabelle went down the hill....

The sun was BRIGHT. Kennedy was so sweet to pull her sister up the hill.

Isabelle perfered to be pulled around. The hill scared her.

That evening we met my Aunt Holly and my cousin Tristan at Heise and sat in the hot tubs before enjoying pizza and salad for dinner, then headed home. Probably not the best idea for Kennedy who started to feel really icky again. All night and the next day she had a temp. and felt sick, so we sluffed church and make valentine cards before heading home. The ride home was....interesting. As I pulled out of my mom's drive way she noticed that the right front tire was extremely bald, so I worried all the way home about a blow out. And Miss Isabelle had an hour nap right before we left and she was not happy to be in her car seat again. Kennedy and Brooklyn fell asleep and slept the whole way. But not Isabelle. She cried, screamed, and told me to "shhh!" when I tried singing to her.
I think I'll wait a month or two before going back. haha

I love the look on Brooklyn's face. She is really concentrating! Cracks me up!
