A glimpse of a clean house

So I thought I would post some pictures of our house, mostly because it's so pretty when it's clean. There's probably no greater motivation to make your house look and smell wonderful than knowing the Relief Society President and her counselors are coming over. In fact whenever I get into a crazy, OCD cleaning flurry the kids always ask "who's coming over?" They act so shocked at times to learn that sometimes we clean just because. I had to take pictures once the sweet ladies from church left, (I am so glad we moved here), and here's to hoping it lasts more than one day. Mom got me this cute sign for Christmas. I love it!
I even shampooed the carpet.....

The girl's bathroom

Kennedy is drinking chocolate milk in the wine glass I bought her from the dollar store. She just loves the glasses Tyson and I got for our wedding, but we wouldn't let her play with them. Thank Goodness for the Dollar Tree.
I'm thinking it will be fun to also include some of the funny things the girls have been saying lately. Kennedy's first day at her new school was yesterday. I dont know who was more worried, her or me. I was the new girl enough to know what it feels like. She came home happy and told me all the boys in her class have a crush on her. Tyson said "does that surprise you?" and she said "No. Because all the other girls in my class have short messy hair and don't wear nice clothes. But it's not their fault, it's their mothers." Holy Crap! At first I thought, we are creating a monster! haha But I got to thinking as long as she's nice to all the children it's nice to know she notices the difference and wants to be clean and well taken care of.
Brooklyn told me the other day while driving to the store. "I want to marry the handsomest boy when I grow up" After a brief pause she adds "but I can't because Daddy is the handsomest. I'll just have to marry a boy that looks like Daddy."
And Little Isabelle. She is a beautiful little stinker. She threw her first tantrum in Walmart yesterday. She is very stubborn and strong willed. (Wonder where she gets that from) :p
She has learned the word NO and she's not afraid to use it.
