SNOW!!

I just love these pictures of my girls in the snow. I always loved winter when I was a kid. I would stay outside playing for hours and was never bothered by the cold. My mom was always worried I wasn't warm enough and would bundle me up till I looked like the Michelin Man. Even today as I showed her these pictures, the first thing she said was "Why weren't their coats zipped?". I love her! Anyway, I'm getting off topic. As a 'grown-up' I tend to be more of a winter humbug. I worry mostly about my family and friends driving on the slick roads. But I have to put all these feelings aside when I see my kids totally lose their mind with excitement at the first glimpse of snow. They were so happy just to walk in it! And I fought my motherly instinct to say "Stop! Your wearing church shoes! Your going to get your feet wet!" Ect. Ect. Nope. Today I just let them enjoy the first real snowfall of the year and soak it all up. So to speak. :)
