Exploring the Walking Mall

We stopped in this little antique store called The Golden Girls. It was jam packed with wonderful treasures. There was so much to see in just one tiny section of the store, and so many little breakable things...,,not really a "kid store" We couldn't let Isabelle down and Brooklyn was getting bored. (Kennedy was at school) My friend Melissa went with me and my mom and she could hardly get her stroller around things. We definitely want to go back and look without the children. This is a picture of Brooklyn in a lady's hat from the early 1900's. I don't think we were supposed to try it on....but since when do we do things the way everyone expects? Yeah, that's not happening any time soon, you only live once!

Saturday we decided to explore the Walking Mall. It's a fun street lined with all kinds of speciality stores, book stores, candy shops, expensive restaurants, etc. We found a really yummy Mexican Restaurant called Taco del Sol. Muy delicioso! (yes, I got that from Dora the Explorer)
I decided the girls should wear the sun dresses before the weather gets cold, usually we save them for church, but it was very hot and they love dresses. We ate dinner at a fun little place called Bert and Ernie's. We sat outside and enjoyed the fun atmosphere. The best part was the pitcher of ice cold Pepsi the waiter brought out.

We stopped to smell the flowers
